A Message from the Principal

Dear Parents/Guardians,

I hope this finds you safe and well, and ready to make the best of the situation we find ourselves in.

Although this current lockdown is our sixth, and we are familiar in this environment, it is not an easy situation to navigate. With this mind, I am heartened and thankful for the resilience and perseverance of both our students and staff. Moving from face-to-face to remote and online learning does not happen without hard work and commitment.

Thank you to all those students who, once again, responded to their emailed Zoom requests, and did their very best to engage in the lessons prepared by their teachers.

A genuine thanks must also go to the staff of the College who have once again seamlessly moved across to remote and online teaching, despite such a short timeline to prepare. Your dedication to your students is sincerely appreciated by our community.

Lockdowns are disruptive and challenging. It is only by working together and supporting one another that we will come through this situation yet again. As expressed through our 2021 College theme, in the words of Mary MacKillop:

‘So great is the strength we possess in our unity’.

Stay safe and well. God bless.

Kind Regards,
Rory Kennedy
Principal
