Enrolment Information

An Enrolment Application Form must be completed for each student applying for a position at MacKillop College. Applicants may be required to attend an interview at the College prior to commencement.

Applications for Enrolment to Year 7 2023 are now closed.

MacKillop College is zoned therefore applications cannot be accepted from residents outside the Werribee Parish (the exception being applicants with current or past siblings enrolled at the College). Please refer to the Enrolment policy. If you are unsure of your eligibility please contact the Registrar (contact form) or view the MacKillop Zones section on this website.

When enrolled at the College, students and parents/guardians are bound by the regulations and expectations authorised and initiated by the Principal as detailed in the Parent & Student Information Guide. Parents/guardians are expected to encourage their sons/daughters to observe these rules and regulations in order to strengthen the well being of the school community.

Parents/carers of prospective students are invited to attend the Grade 5 Information Evening held in June and our Open Days in February and November of each year.

2021 Bus Fees

The Bus Charges approved by the MacKillop College Board for 2021 are as follows:

  • Altona Bus $1,380 (residents in Point Cook, Altona and Laverton)
  • Westleigh Garden Bus $1,180 (residents in Westleigh Gardens and Manor Lakes)
  • Sayers Road Bus $1,180 (residents in Tarneit)
  • Leakes Road Bus $1,180 (residents in Tarneit)

Bus costs will be charged in full in the first two weeks of the school year and are payable in full upon receipt of the invoice. Sibling discounts will apply as per the school fee policy.

Two students 20% off Bus Fare of 2nd sibling OR
Three students 30% off Bus Fare of 3rd sibling OR
Four students 100% off Bus Fare of 4th and subsequent sibling(s)

Discounts will continue to apply to the Tuition fee component as per the College school fee policy.

The Faculty Resource Levy is a per student compulsory fee which covers a range of resources and materials provided to students. Part of the charge is used to produce ‘in-house’ materials to eliminate the need to purchase some additional text-books.

The Capital Development fee is a compulsory per family fee to assist with the ongoing capital requirements of the College.

The School Building Fund will remain a separate tax-deductible fund for voluntary contributions which assist with the on-going capital development needs of the College.

A variety of payment methods are available to assist with payment of fees.

2021 Music Fees

The Instrumental Music Lesson Charges for 2021 are as follows:

  • Individual Lesson $36 per Lesson
  • Shared Lesson $23 per Lesson
  • Instrument Hire $60 per Term

Lesson fees are due and payable prior to the commencement of each term. Payment due dates for 2021 are as follows:

  • Term 1 Tuesday 19 January 2021
  • Term 2 Friday 2 April 2021
  • Term 3 Friday 25 June 2021
  • Term 4 Friday 17 September 2021

Financial Assistance – Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF)

From 2020, the Victorian Government is investing an additional $160.9 million for the Camps, Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) over a 4 year period. This has been bolstered further with an additional $28.6 million announced in the 2020-21 State Budget for the 2021 school year to ensure all eligible students are able to participate in school trips and sporting activities. Families who hold a valid means-tested concession card or who are temporary foster parents of school age children are eligible to apply. The 2021 annual CSEF amount for secondary school students is $225. The payment will be made directly to the school and will be used towards camps, sports and excursion costs for the benefit of the student.

Parents/guardians that received CSEF at MacKillop College in 2020 do not need to complete an application form in 2021, providing there has been no change in their family circumstances. If your Healthcare card has expired, please provide the Administration Office with a copy of your new Healthcare card. All new eligible families will need to submit an application form with a copy of their Healthcare card.
